No friends left

In case you were wondering why you have one less friend on Facebook today, we should inform you that the profile for "Gordon Wrongman Brown" has been deactivated by the Facebook administrators.

There are thousands of spoof profiles like that one so we can't help wondering if the thin skin of our Prime MInister had something to do with it. An email from the Labour Party or the Government would have done the trick.

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted!

Gordon Brown is 'the wrong man' for Britain's future

Welcome to thewrongman.org.

There's not much content here yet but - over time - we hope to build this website into a one-stop centre for killer facts, amusing videos and persuasive comment pieces about the failures of Gordon Brown's years as Chancellor and now as Prime Minister.

The ConservativeHome website team runs the site but it simply won't be possible for us to maintain it if we don't have your help.

Please email us if you think you'd like to be involved.  We're particularly looking for creative people who can use Photoshop or who are good at video editing/ production.

We are not afraid of so-called negative campaigning - it's important to hold governments to account for their record - but thewrongman won't be personal.

Tomorrow we'll post a questionnaire about Gordon Brown.  Today we'd like your ideas for posters that sum up Gordon Brown's failings.
