Alan Greenspan is quoted in the Business section of the DT today about Thatcher and Brown, when he praises Thatcher for having stood up to Scargill:

"That was the defining moment, and to their credit Blair and Brown did not unwind it. They recognised that there was something fundamentally good for British labour in having a flexible economy".

Elsewhere in the main paper is an article showing how Labour has squandered its inheritance from the tories.
